I did some refactoring and ended up with 3 identical VMs for the k3s cluster, all running on BTG right now, but once I’ve got it working I can migrate to multiple machines. I’m still using the current VM model, I plan to test the build-a-vm-directly on DOP for ease, and then figure out how to share it everywhere after the fact.

Next step is to stand up the k3s cluster and do any adjustments to horsepower needed. Then I can migrate services over to be managed by some helm charts and glue.

That should let me retire barge, and I should be able to retire daktylos as well.
